The Collaborative Law Institute of North Carolina ("CLINIC") is tasked with expanding awareness and knowledge of Collaborative Practice in all areas of conflict resolution in North Carolina.

Our Mission Is To...


  • Educate the public about Collaborative Practice and its application in family law, business and contract disputes, and healthcare conflicts between patients and providers

  • Train attorneys, mental health professionals, and financial professionals to use the Collaborative Practice model

  • Provide a free listing of Collaborative practitioner and practice groups in North Carolina
  • Provide a Speaker's Bureau of knowledgeable
    Collaborative practitioners

  • Provide a list of resources (books, articles, links, calendars) for further information on Collaborative Practice, both for professionals and the public
    ​
  • Design and implement research procedures to measure the rates of success and satisfaction of parties using Collaborative Practice in place of traditional adversarial models
