Mission Statement

Carolina Dispute Settlement Services is a non-profit, private organization dedicated to the process of cooperative resolution of conflicts with the intervention of alternative dispute resolution methods.

To promote this purpose, one of our primary functions is to educate citizens in dispute resolution through the use of communication skills, cooperative decision-making, collaborative law, mediation and related topics and skills.

We offer services to the community, the private sector, and the courts. Through these services, we offer a cost-effective means by which participants can resolve conflicts, provide the courts financial and administrative efficiency, and provide our community an enhanced quality of life through improved social relations.
