Lori Riley is the Director of Volunteer Services and Case Manager with Carolina Dispute Settlement Services and a certified District Court mediator. In her role as Director of Volunteer Services she insures that trained volunteer mediators are available for both Wake County District Criminal Court mediations and District Court Civil cases involving domestic violence orders, no contact orders and extraordinary expense child support cases. Ms. Riley is an expert in mediating Medicaid denial appeals. She works closely with the North Carolina Office of Administrative Hearings and the Department of Health and Human Services at scheduling and resolving the Medicaid denial appeals that are assigned to CDSS for mediation. Ms. Riley is the case manager for CDSS and as such schedules mediations for both staff mediators and private mediators who contract with CDSS for case management assistance. Ms. Riley is married and has three children. She graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Management from Ithaca College.
