Diann Seigle is the Executive Director for Carolina Dispute Settlement Services, a community mediation center that provides alternative dispute resolution services to North Carolina. Ms. Seigle’s areas of practice include mediation, arbitration, med-arb, facilitation, training and dispute resolution design. Ms. Seigle’s formal education is in Psychology and Special Education. She is an Advanced Practitioner member of the Association of Conflict Resolution and has mediated thousands of cases in the family, criminal, and employment areas. Ms. Seigle has presented at the North Carolina Bar Association Family Law and ADR Section conferences on the subject of Med-Arb and Collaborative Law. In addition, Ms. Seigle has presented at numerous American Bar Association ADR Section conferences including Seattle, New York and Los Angeles on a variety of topics including med-arb, the NCCU School of Law ADR Clinical program and mediation in domestic violence cases. She has served as a member of the NC Bar Association ADR Council, the Wake County Domestic Violence Task Force, board member of the Mediation Network of North Carolina and commissioner of the North Carolina Dispute Resolution Commission.
