Diann Seigle is the Executive Director for Carolina Dispute Settlement Services, and has practiced in the field of alternative dispute resolution since 1997. Ms. Seigle’s practice has focused on mediation, arbitration and med-arb in the divorce, employment, business and district court arena where she has settled thousands of cases. She has been involved with research and implementation regarding mediation in domestic violence cases and conflict resolution management system design in the health care industry as well as governmental agencies. She has served as a consultant to business, universities and governmental organizations about risk management through the use of ADR methods. Ms Seigle serves both as a speaker and trainer at various mediation seminars and ADR conferences including the National American Bar Association ADR Section in Seattle, Washington, Washington DC, New York, New York, Los Angels, California, and the North Carolina Bar Association Family Section and Alternative Dispute Resolution Section Annual Conferences. Ms Seigle has been an instructor for the ADR Clinic course through the North Carolina School of Law since 2000. She currently serves on the Wake County Domestic Violence Task force, the North Carolina Bar Association ADR Section Council and is a second term commissioner to the North Carolina Dispute Resolution Commission. Ms Seigle is an Advanced Practitioner member of the Association for Conflict Resolution and the Academy of Family Mediators. Ms Seigle holds degrees in Psychology and Special Education from the University of Montana.
